Cristina performed professionally with Caroline Calouche & Co. as well as with Martha Connerton/Kinetic Works Dance Company from 2007-2009.  She has performed in many different venues and concerts and has been a featured dancer of Opera Carolina's Romeo & Juliet and Aida.  In between performances, Cristina was a Teaching Artist for the Charlotte Dance Festival and Martha Connerton/Kinetic Works spreading dance to children ages 2-18 years old.

After getting married in 2009, Mrs. Cristina moved back to her home town,  Southaven, MS, and taught various dance classes ranging from ballet, tap, modern/contemporary, jazz, hiphop, and competitive pom. With a vision to bring a higher level of dance to DeSoto County, Mrs. Cristina opened CK Dance Theatre in the summer of 2013. Since then CK has grown immensely! Not only does Mrs. Cristina focus on teaching, but she feels it is important to stay involved in performing. This past year 2014, Cristina was invited to join the Hot Foot Honeys, the first and only professional tap company in Memphis, TN. She performed in their 2015 Spring Concert and looks forward to the many performances ahead with such a great group of ladies. To learn more visit www.hotfoothoneys.com. CK Dance Theatre started their first performance team for the 2014-2015 season, and not only did they win numerous overall awards for outstanding performances, the students were noticed for their teamwork, best of show, overall entertainment and many other awards that were given for great sportsmanship as a dancer as well.
