Mrs. Cristina Kelly
Artistic Director/Dance & Tumble Instructor
Mrs. Cristina received her BFA with Honors in Dance Performance and Choreography with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2007. Cristina has also trained at Ballet Memphis with Stephanie Mei Hom and received her Elementary Certification in Labonotation from the Dance Notation Bureau in NY.
Cristina has had the pleasure to work with guest artists such as Trebien Pollard of Pilobolus, Christal Brown of Urban Bush Women, Jon Rodriguez director of the Dayton Ohio Ballet, Coco Loupe of Coco Loupe Dance, Karola Luttringhaus of Alban Elved Dance Company, Danial Shapiro and Joanie Smith of Shapiro and Smith Dance Company, and many more.
Cristina performed professionally with Caroline Calouche & Co. as well as with Martha Connerton/Kinetic Works Dance Company from 2007-2009. She has performed in many different venues and concerts and has been a featured dancer of Opera Carolina's Romeo & Juliet and Aida. In between performances, Cristina was a Teaching Artist for the Charlotte Dance Festival and Martha Connerton/Kinetic Works spreading dance to children ages 2-18 years old. In 2014, Cristina was invited to join the Hot Foot Honeys, the first and only professional tap company in Memphis, TN. She performed in their 2015 & 2017 Spring Concert.
After getting married in 2009, Mrs. Cristina moved back to her home town, Southaven, MS, and taught various dance classes ranging from ballet, tap, modern/contemporary, jazz, hiphop, and competitive pom. With a vision to bring a higher level of dance to DeSoto County, Mrs. Cristina opened CK Dance Theatre in the summer of 2013. Since then CK has grown immensely!

CK Dance Theatre started their first performance team for the 2014-2015 season, and not only did they win numerous overall awards for outstanding performances, the students were noticed for their teamwork, best of show, overall entertainment and many other awards that were given for great sportsmanship as a dancer as well.
